Lion Energy Safari LT [500W Solar Powered Generator]

I live in an off grid cabin at 10,000 ft in the mountains of Colorado where our only source of power was a gas powered generator. Looking to supplement our power usage while not running the generator, and without the funds to do a full solar power build, we found the Safari LT. The unit itself is small and light but also sturdy and rugged. It is super easy to use and provides a surprising amount of power. For example when we have the generator off the Safari LT will power our internet, router, and a few lights for hours and hours. And with the option of plugging it into an outlet while the generator is on, or charging it in our car when driving it is really convenient to keep juiced up. When we did have a small issue with our unit, the customer service manager Greg was a delight to work with, very responsive, and got us a replacement unit out very quickly. I would 100% recommend this unit as well as this company to anyone looking for an easy and powerful solution to their backcountry or off grid energy needs.

The LT is the only battery that I've found that my 4 year old son can carry himself because it's so light. We take it everywhere we go now.

I like that it's really light weight, it lasts a really long time and it's quiet and safe. It's also pretty compact and fits into smaller spaces like my saddle bags when I go horseback riding in the back country and still need some power.

I purchased the unit as a precaution against the city power grid going down for more than a day so I wanted a reliable solar powered generator. I’m very happy with it.

I bought this unit for traveling DC in a van to power a 12volt fridge and to use at home during a power outage, to run LED lights and to keep phones and laptop charged up. This is a pretty amazing device. It will also run my rather large stereo system, or my TV, or even a blender. I can also plug my router and modem into it so I still have wifi in case we lose power. ( I work from home and need my laptop) This definitely fills a void where you dont want to fire up your big gas powered generator, but you also dont want to sit in front of a bunch of flickering candles when the power goes out. The key factor here is that it's perfectly same to use indoors and when running is very quiet when in use. ( a small cooling fan when the ac items are plugged into the unit. I highly recommend the Safari LT.
